Each species is grown in a nutrient rich liquid medium, specifically tailored to encourage rapid expansion and strong growth.
Each 10ml syringe is securely closed with a luer lock cap and supplied with a sterile 18G 1.5″ (38mm) needle, and a 70% ISO alcohol swab.
Syringes can be stored for up to 3 months under refrigeration between 1-5ºc (except Pink Oyster and Milky Mushroom, which should NOT be refrigerated). For best results, use as soon as possible.
Our liquid culture syringes are carefully prepared in a sterile lab environment. Liquid culture medium is autoclave sterilised at 121°c. Our lab filtration is rated to ULPA U15 – far exceeding the industry standard HEPA 13/14. To ensure the quality of our cultures, each batch is grown out on agar to observe for any possible contamination.
Only when we are certain the batch is clean and totally free of contamination do we make it available for sale.
